Making ‘Fetch’ Happen: The Story Behind Hubdoc’s Rebrand

April 1, 2016 Jamie Shulman

April 1, 2016 - It’s been an exciting couple years since we launched Hubdoc for Business. In that time, we’ve helped thousands of businesses and their advisors automate their bookkeeping and accounting. We are extremely grateful for the customers we get to work with everyday. They are dynamic, highly entrepreneurial and marching towards the future with zeal. Today, we are very proud to announce the next stage of Hubdoc: We are rebranding.

Tens of thousands of people have been wow’d by our fetching technology. Our software’s ability to automatically fetch your bills and statements is setting a new standard in accounting automation. Pretty amazing for two years in!

I’m thrilled to share the real reason we’re able to quickly fetch your online bills and statements. It isn’t a highly-sophisticated team of robots, as previously thought. It’s actually a team of well-trained Smart Canines, specifically golden retrievers, that are going out and fetching your bills and statements - quite literally.

You probably have a lot of questions. How does Hubdoc train these dogs? How many dogs are there? What are their names? Do I get my own dog? All of these questions will be answered in time.

We’ve been at the cutting edge of accounting automation with our “fetching” technology and are now bringing it full circle with our new name: Hubdog. We’ve rebranded and as a way to celebrate, we’re giving away Hubdog-branded t-shirts. Sign up for the raffle below and thanks for joining us on our journey!

Thanks,

Jamie & Jamie and the rest of the Hubdog Team
